At La Sportiva, we believe great gear should last. Our in-house repair services help extend the life of your climbing shoes—so you can keep climbing longer.
What We Service
We currently offer repair services for La Sportiva climbing shoes only.
These services are not covered under warranty and are offered as a paid service.
How to Request a Repair
Repairs are available in-store at our Salt Lake City location only. Please bring your climbing shoes directly to our Salt Lake City ReSoul Lab.
Assessment & Pricing
When you bring in your shoes:
- Our team will evaluate their condition
- Confirm what work can be completed
- Provide pricing at the time of intake
Note: Not all shoes can be repaired. Feasibility depends on the model, construction, and level of wear.
Turnaround Time
Repair timelines vary depending on:
- Type of service
- Condition of the shoes
- Current workload
Note: An estimated timeline will be provided at drop-off. Timelines are not guaranteed.
Pickup
- You will be notified when your shoes are ready
- All completed repairs must be picked up in-store at the Salt Lake City location
- Shipping is not available at this time.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Repairs are completed by experienced technicians using:
- Original materials, or
- High-quality equivalent materials
Note: While we aim to restore performance, repaired shoes may not look or perform exactly like new. Sometimes they are even better!
Service Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on repair work, covering:
- Workmanship
- Replaced components
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Pre-existing damage
- Damage resulting from improper use after repair
At our discretion, we will either:
- Re-perform the repair, or
- Refund the cost of the service
Limitations
- Not all repairs are possible depending on the shoe’s condition and construction
- Shoes deemed non-repairable will be returned without service
- La Sportiva is not responsible for pre-existing issues or damage not identifiable during assessment
Note: Any liability related to repair services is limited to the value of the service performed.
Unclaimed Items
Customers are responsible for picking up completed repairs in a timely manner.
- Items not collected within 30 days of notification may be subject to storage fees
- Items not collected within 90 days may be disposed of without further notice
Privacy
Personal information collected during the repair process will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and La Sportiva’s Privacy Policy.

These services are governed by applicable local laws.
